Marine training at the BCIT Marine Campus combines classroom learning with hands-on experience where it really matters—at sea and aboard vessels ranging from tankers, cruise ships, bulk carriers, cargo and, offshore supply vessels.

Marine Engineering Diploma Program
Get on the path to become the Chief Engineer of the world’s largest ships. The Marine Engineering diploma program is a four-year cadet Co-operative program where students train to operate and maintain the propulsion plant and auxiliary systems of sophisticated ocean-going vessels.

Nautical Sciences Diploma Program
Become the Captain of your own ship! The Nautical Sciences program is a four-year full-time Co-operative program accredited by Transport Canada Marine Safety and Security. Studies focus on navigation, seamanship, cargo operations, and ship safety.
