KPU offers trades foundation and four levels of apprentice technical training that will prepare graduates for employment by construction companies, contractors, and maintenance departments.
Through the use of classroom, shop, and practicum, students gain the knowledge and skills to safely practice the trade. Various practical projects are performed in a shop environment to enhance students’ skills in layout, assembly, installation, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment in buildings and other structures.
