Description
Students who are drawn to journalism and creative writing share a passion for curiosity, storytelling, and making a positive difference in the world. They want to deeply explore topics that matter to them and learn to express ideas using a wide range of tools—writing, interactive graphics, audio, video, photography, and web-based media. In Creative Writing and Journalism classrooms, students strengthen their skills in storytelling, poetry, screenwriting, and non-fiction while also experimenting with digital platforms, video, and sound. Along the way, they gain excellence in writing, creative self-expression, critical thinking, and the experience of working within a vibrant community of peers.
