Langara’s Asian Studies program—Canada’s first community college program to focus on the Asia-Pacific region—offers courses and seminars that provide in-depth insight into the cultures of China, Japan, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and BC Asian societies. Designed for university-transfer students, it equips learners to pursue further studies in Asian Studies and other social science disciplines. The program is especially valued by those who have worked, traveled, or have heritage in Asia and seek a deeper understanding of cultural patterns and global connections.
