Langara College’s Criminal Justice Program prepares students for a variety of careers with public and private agencies in the field of criminal justice. The two-year program is designed for those seeking an entry-level job in the field. It is designed to be taken full-time but may be taken part-time.
The two-year Diploma in Criminology program blends university-transfer academic arts courses, skills-based courses, and practical experience to provide students with a broad, liberal education in social science, criminal justice, and law. Students will learn scientific research methods, legal, philosophical, and theoretical approaches to aid in understanding crime and related social problems, and social responses to crime.
