Invent The Future is a 2-week summer enrichment program hosted by Simon Fraser University (SFU) for young women to explore artificial intelligence (AI) and technology. This program aims to give 32 high-potential students the opportunity to explore the world of AI through expert lectures, programming exercises and team projects, and connect them with mentors and industry experts in a supportive yet challenging environment.
For the safety of all participants, mentors and organizers in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year we will be offering a digital version of our program to Grade 10 and 11 young women anywhere in Canada, from July 13-24, 2020.
Invent the Future will provide laptops and other tools needed for online learning for the duration of the program. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors including AI4ALL, we are pleased to offer this year’s program free of charge. As such, we encourage students from across Canada to apply and join us for two weeks of AI learning.
