A History of Providing Access to Information

Since 1974, Post-SecondaryBC (formerly known as PSI-BC) has been connecting students and post-secondary institutions in BC. Our mission is to provide access to the most current information about BC’s post-secondary options to students, their parents, and the high school counsellors who support them. By facilitating school presentations, community information evenings and high school counsellor updates, and generally acting as a resource for comprehensive, real-time, and unbiased post-secondary information, we fulfill our mission.

30 Post-Secondary Members Across BC

Post-SecondaryBC is an informal association of 30 primarily public post-secondary institutions.

We do not accept private for-profit institutions as members. Regular members are normally institutions that are part of the BC public post-secondary system. That means they are recognized by at least one of the two national post-secondary organizations in Canada: Universities Canada or CICan (Colleges and Institutes Canada).

Regular Membership is open to publicly funded colleges, institutes, and universities in BC. Regular Membership is also considered for publicly funded agencies or departments of a government Ministry directly involved in the delivery of post-secondary education and training, such as the Canadian Forces Royal Military College.
