Join Dr. Edwin Hodge from the Faculty of Social Sciences to discuss how sociologists are tasked with understanding how societies change over time and in response to everything from environmental crises and political change to pandemics such as the one we’re currently experiencing.
How can the “sociological imagination” help us to understand the ways that Canadian society has responded to COVID-19? How can we use sociology to understand why people have begun to believe in conspiracy theories about the disease, and how can we address these challenges?
