FOREST THERAPY
The forest is calling you!
Forest therapy, or forest bathing, is the practice of surrounding oneself in nature and being in the moment. It is not a hike or a naturalist walk, rather the destination is to simply slow down and find a connection with the present moment. Take a break in your day and discover what nature has in store for you as you participate in a forest therapy walk. Led by an experienced guide, immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the forest surrounding Guichon Creek. Discover the healing power of the forest as you connect with the natural world and leave feeling refreshed and revitalized.
“Trees are the foundation of the forests, but a forest is much more than what you see…. Underground there is this other world, a world of infinite biological pathways that connect trees and allow them to communicate and allow the forest to behave as though it’s a single organism.” (Suzanne Simard UBC)
