KPU students have the opportunity to attend one of many amazing partner institutions from around the world. During your exchange, you will only pay for your KPU tuition, not international fees, and receive full transfer credit for the courses that you take while abroad.

Admission is a 2-Step process: first, qualify under one of four applicant categories [High School, Transfer, Mature, Aboriginal] and then satisfy the stated admission requirements for the program being applied for.

Since KPU does not provide on-campus housing facilities, all students arriving from outside of the Metro Vancouver region will need to find a place to live. Here is more information and resources to help!

At Accessibility Services, we work with students who require personalized plans to ensure access to the university and success in achieving academic goals.

Indigenous Student Supports & Services
Indigenous Student Supports & Services Info
Our Indigenous Services for Students department offers a variety of services ranging from assistance with scholarship applications, prospective student advising, assistance with admissions and application processes, academic support, to advocacy and referrals.
Our Elder in Residence, Lekeyten works with us to provide guidance and support to students.
We offer an Indigenous Online Orientation program for new students as well as an Indigenous Book Club. We also have a bi-monthly e-newsletter featuring awards, events, success strategies, resources, etc.

English Language Requirement
English is the primary language of study at KPU therefore all applicants must be able to demonstrate the appropriate level of English language proficiency for their undergraduate, vocational or preparatory area of study.
